General Terms and Conditions

The Global Innovation Forum (“GIF” or “GIFLondon”) is a curated community of innovators, creators and business leaders. These General Terms & Conditions govern participation in GIF events. By registering for a GIF event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Organiser
The Global Innovation Forum (GIFLondon) is organised and delivered by Selectiva International Ltd. Registered offices: Selectiva International Ltd, Ivan Vazov 44, 4000 Plovdiv, Bulgaria, VAT number: BG200085807. In these Terms, “GIF”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Selectiva International Ltd.
2. Nature of Participation (B2B Event)
GIF events are business-focused, professional gatherings intended primarily for corporate representatives and business delegates. By registering, you confirm that you are attending in a professional capacity and not as a consumer under personal use.
3. Registration & Acceptance
Registration is confirmed only when a completed registration form has been submitted and full payment has been received. Attendance is subject to availability and may be curated to ensure a balanced and high-quality participant mix aligned with the objectives of GIF. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any registration where necessary to protect the integrity, safety or experience of the event community.
4. Ticket Packages
Standard Package includes access to all sessions listed in the official agenda, digital event materials (where applicable), refreshments, lunch and evening reception (as specified). Full Package (if offered) additionally includes two nights’ accommodation at the designated event venue, airport-to-venue transfers as specified. Unless expressly stated, ticket packages do not include travel costs, visa costs, travel insurance and personal expenses.
All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and are exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. GIF reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to registration confirmation.
5. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required within 10 working days of invoice issuance.
- Registrations made within 14 days prior to the event must be paid immediately.
- Payment may be made via bank transfer or credit card.
- Access to the event may be refused if payment has not been received in full.
Invoices must be settled prior to the event start date. GIF reserves the right to refuse any registration for lawful reasons.
6. Cancellations by Delegates
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email. Refunds are calculated as follows:
- 100% refund if cancelled before 31 July 2026
- 80% refund if cancelled between 1 August 2026 and 31 August 2026
- 50% refund if cancelled between 1 September 2026 and 30 September 2026
- 20% refund if cancelled between 1 October 2026 and 31 October 2026
- No refund if cancelled on or after 1 November 2026
Alternatively, delegates may request a credit voucher for the total registration fee paid, valid for 12 months and redeemable for a future GIF event (subject to availability). For Full Package registrations, accommodation and transfer components may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 30 days prior to the event.
Cancellations of partial attendance are not eligible for refunds. Non-attendance without written cancellation does not entitle the delegate to any refund.
For registrations made under a promotional pre-event offer, partial cancellations are not eligible for a refund or credit voucher. If one of the two registered delegates is unable to attend, the substitution terms below will apply.
7. Substitutions
Where full payment has been received, substitutions from the same organisation are permitted at no additional cost up to 48 hours before the event, subject to written notice.
8. Changes to the Event
GIF is a live, curated experience. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to agenda, speakers, schedule, venue within the same city and event format. Speaker substitutions do not constitute a material change. If a material change occurs (such as relocation to another country or conversion to a fully virtual format), delegates will be offered either participation in the revised event or a full refund of the registration fee.
9. Event Postponement or Cancellation by the Organiser
GIF reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: government restrictions, public health emergencies, pandemic, war or terrorism, natural disasters, industrial action and venue unavailability. If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, delegates will receive a full refund of the registration fee paid. If the event is postponed, registrations will transfer to the new date. If a delegate cannot attend the new date, a full refund may be requested. GIF shall not be liable for travel, accommodation or other personal expenses incurred.
10. Code of Conduct
GIF is built on respectful dialogue, openness and meaningful exchange. All participants agree to:
- Behave professionally and respectfully
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination or disruptive conduct
- Respect the safety and dignity of other participants
GIF reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour compromises the integrity or safety of the event. No refund will be issued in such cases.
11. Photography & Media
GIF events may be photographed, recorded or live-streamed. By attending, you acknowledge that your image, voice or likeness may be captured and used for promotional, archival or marketing purposes related to GIF. If you prefer not to appear in media materials, you must notify us in writing prior to the event or inform event staff onsite.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, recordings, presentations and documentation provided during GIF events are protected by intellectual property laws. Delegates may not record sessions without prior written permission, reproduce or distribute materials publicly and use event content for commercial purposes without consent. GIF branding, logos and materials may not be used without prior written approval.
13. Travel & Visas
Delegates are responsible for arranging travel, accommodation (unless included in package), visa requirements and insurance. GIF may provide invitation letters upon request but does not guarantee visa approval.
14. Privacy & Data Sharing
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. As a professional, curated B2B event, GIF may share limited professional attendee information (such as name, job title, company, email address and LinkedIn profile, where provided) with: other registered attendees for networking purposes, event sponsors and official partners and exhibitors (where applicable). This sharing is conducted to facilitate professional engagement and networking consistent with the purpose of the event.
By registering, you acknowledge that your professional contact details may be included in an attendee list and shared with sponsors and partners in connection with the event. If you prefer not to have your details shared, you may notify us in writing prior to the event. GIF does not sell personal data. All processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Bulgarian and EU data protection laws.
15. Event Content & Participation Disclaimer
The views, opinions and materials presented by speakers, panelists, sponsors, exhibitors or other participants at GIF events are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of GIF or the Organiser. GIF does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any information presented during the event or in associated materials. Delegates acknowledge that participation in discussions, networking sessions and related activities is undertaken voluntarily and at their own discretion.
To the extent permitted under applicable law, GIF shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense incurred as a result of reliance on information presented during the event or arising in connection with participation in the event. Nothing in this clause excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under Bulgarian law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Bulgarian law: GIF’s total liability arising out of or in connection with the event shall not exceed the total registration fee paid and GIF shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profit or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bulgaria.
18. Amendments
GIF reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in legislation or operational requirements. The latest version will always be published on our website.
