Charissa Rujanavech is a Circular Economy Principal at Amazon, creating business solutions to increase the circularity of materials and eliminate waste across Amazon operations.
Prior to Amazon, Charissa led the Recycling Innovation program at Apple and was the creator of Apple’s automated disassembly systems for iPhone recycling — Liam and Daisy. She also worked on sustainable materials development and closed-loop technologies at Nike and Patagonia.
Charissa has a B.A. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environment.
