Bio
Alberto Ferreira is a user research and globalization services expert with over ten years of experience in UX on both client and agency side.
He works currently as the User Research and Service Design Chapter Lead at Vodafone UK, implementing a new innovation research workstream in the telco giant. He has also worked on improving the digital experience of companies like Sony, the BBC, and Emirates. He is the author of Universal UX: Building Multicultural Experience, a book on the specialised practices and implementations of UX across the globe. He hosted and curated the Localisation Processes Forum at the LocWorld conference between 2012 and 2017, and is a regular speaker at international UX conferences like UXPA. He also devotes his time to mentoring and tutoring young UX students and practitioners at Kingston University in London.
A multidisciplinarian interested in topics ranging from Agile to persuasion design, he is passionate about the development of User Experience as a revolutionary field that aims to understand the depth of the relationship between the human mind, design, and digital technology.
