Adam is a creative explorer, passionate about using design to reshape the way we relate to and experience the world. As New Zealander of Māori and Irish heritage, he is an emergent voice exploring the interconnections between identity, culture, indigeneity, and systemic change.
For over two decades, Adam has work-journeyed around the world, leading brand identity and expression in Health and Wellness, Sport, Culture, Entertainment and Technology sectors, bringing brands to life through creative transformation.
As Experience Director for Philips Design in Amsterdam, Adam leads the creative direction across brand touchpoints, supporting Philips in transforming the health technology space through more meaningful innovation. He has a special focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, design thinking, and evolving representation.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Visual Communication with Honors from Ngā Pae Māhutonga, Wellington School of Design, Massey University. He is the recipient of leading industry awards including being part of the Red Dot Design Team of the Year 2022. He is a visiting lecturer at Rotterdam Business School and the University of Amsterdam.
